Office Fitout -
QUT Garden's Point Campus, Brisbane
As our workplace habits change and we move towards a better understanding in the psychological effects of office layouts, the current spaces within the QUT D Block building need to change. Research and current trends in workplace design has revealed to us that open planned, mixed use spaces have endorsed a more inclusive office environment and encouraged people to work within these spaces.

The incorporation of living plants and communal spaces with provisions for light refreshment are to be considered in the programming of the spaces The aim of this project is to be able to provide spaces that may adapt to the needs of QUT D Block in 10 years’ time. Careful consideration towards the following principles will be made:

-
Building services (Mechanical, Hydraulic, Fire and Electrical services)
-
Fire accessibility
-
General accessibility
-
Building Code Requirements (according to the BCA/NCC and the Australian Standards)
