First Year Snippets
I began studying architecture because I was, and still am, fascinated by the power of a space to manipulate one’s emotions. I am yet to find my niche in the domain, and welcome opportunities to further my understanding of what it means to design a space effectively.
My first year of architecture was purely exploratory. I was a novice at both focusing my creative mind and at realising my vision through my hand. It was harder than future years in those respects, but I learned many valuable lessons, including aspiring towards sustainable design and the invaluable potential of a sketch, no matter how messy.
